Taylor Ursula Yates works as an AMFT/APCC with a focus on the LGBTQ+ community. Taylor has a BA in Communications from Marymount Manhattan College and an MA in Clinical Psychology through Pepperdine University. she is certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists following her studies under Shauna Cummins and her Divine Feminine School of Hypnosis. Taylor has spoken at the Fresh Voices of Astrology, the Queer Astrology, and the Astrology of Awakening conferences, and has contributed to the CUSP app, NFLUX Magazine, and the 2022 edition of Many Moons. she was most recently a contributor to the 2025 tarot anthology Tarot in Other Words published by Weiser Books available here.

I work with those who carry shadows around trauma, burnout, gaslighting, and reactive patterning to locate agency in the present while loosening the grip of the past. I create a space for embracing contradictions and breaking through lingering expressive repression. my specialties include the 12th house, planets in fall and/or detriment, difficult aspects like squares and oppositions, and queering the stories and themes of astrology and tarot.
